This painting by artist Suh Se-ok depicts a cow and two boys, a popular theme painted by Suh. There is a long calligraphy inscription on the left side, along with the artist's signature and seal.

About Suh Se-ok (b. 1929):

Suh Se-ok (b. 1929) is a pivotal figure in modern and contemporary Korean art. He graduated from Seoul National University in 1950 and since then has exhibited in Korea, the US, Western Europe, and Brazil. His works consist of ink on paper and combine calligraphic elements with traditional Korean subjects. He is well-known for his abstract ink paintings as well as his ability to paint simple Korean subjects in a delicate manner. His works are dynamic and show his unique artistic vision.
